In 2008 the Heritage House and Mississippi State Extension Service began a partnership to work with the Heritage House Kids in the kitchen. At least twice a year, a facilitator comes into the house to provide a programming service. One day the dining room is used to provide a on dining etiquette and the next day the kitchen is used for instructions on nutrition and proper food preparation.
